Learning environment

It is very important for a teacher to have a good learning environment for the students.  There should be a nice layout put together in the room where students can work together and should face the same way so they can all watch the teacher as he or she is speaking.  It is also important to have technology tools around the classroom, a computer is usually the most popular of these.

Students need these tools to be able to get the most out of their work and conduct new researches.  This helps them cover new information and get new ideas.  Having good resources is very important in the classroom and will give students the best chance in getting the most out of their work.

Coaching

Another great incentive while teaching is getting into a coaching career.  Being a teacher already gets you into the school and can help you get a job as a coach.  being a coach you must use the same kind of tools.  Coaches must communicate to their players and teach them how to play the sport the right away and how to learn new things.

Coaches must also create plans for how they are going to practice.  They must have a plan on what to do each day of the week and different strategies they will use during the game.  Students learn how to compete and learn how to trust in their teammates and work together as a group.  Being a part of a team is a great way to educate students how to work together.

Communicating in the classroom

I think being able to communicate with students in the classroom is very important while educating them.  This will give them a more understanding of what is going on and also allows them to ask more questions.  It also helps them feel more comfortable asking these questions and approaching teachers for help. 

It is also important to give out an email or a phone number where students can contact the teacher if they need help while they are working on a project at home.  In many cases this is the most popular way of getting help because they are working on most papers and projects at home and possibly on the weekends trying to get these papers done when they aren’t in school.  I think that communicating with students is very important in educating students.

Powerpoint Presentation

Powerpoint presentations are becoming more popular in the classrooms.  It is a much easier and more organized way of putting information together in order to create a good presentation.  These powerpoints are very easy to learn and can be used for any project. 

Students should learn how to use the computer efficiently at a young age, so they will be able to use these tools in high school.  I feel that using these tools help everyone in the class get a better understanding of what the presenter is talking about.  It can be used as a great visual aid, while putting pictures and facts together in one.  These types of presentations should be learned and can be great for providing good information and learning to students.

Smart Board

     The smart board is a great new tool for teaching in the classroom.  I have had experience in high school using the smart board and it was very easy to use and fun at the same time.  It is much simpler to erase and create many different things while using the computer, rather than using a plain old chalk board.  This helps get more students involved and creates a better understanding with pictures and symbols you can use while teaching.

     These smart boards are starting to become a lot more popular and more schools are buying them.  You can correct mistakes much easier and set up powerpoint presentations much simpler.  Smart boards bring the computer and the chalk board into one simple tool for educating and learning.
